Manufaktur Ulbricht operates this online store and website on the Shopify platform to provide you with a personalized shopping experience. Please read these General Terms and Conditions carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit available quantities.
4. Conclusion of Contract & Orders
4.1 Online Orders
By submitting an order through our online store, you make a binding offer to purchase.
The purchase contract is concluded only when Manufaktur Ulbricht expressly confirms your order by email.
We reserve the right to reject orders for legitimate reasons, including product unavailability or unresolved payment issues.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it.
Once your order has been accepted, cancellation requests can only be accommodated to a limited extent.
If an order is declined, we will notify you via the email address provided.
4.2 Local Collection
For orders collected in person at our premises, the purchase contract is concluded upon handover of the goods and full payment on site.
Advance reservation by telephone or email is recommended.

5. Prices & Billing
All prices are stated in Euro (€) and include the applicable statutory VAT.
Shipping costs are charged separately and displayed before you complete your order.
Prices, discounts, and promotions may be changed without prior notice.
The price shown in your order confirmation is the price applicable to your purchase.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date payment information and confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable immediately without deduction.
For advance payment, payment must be received within 7 days.
Goods will be shipped only after payment has been received in full.
We reserve the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases.
In the event of late payment, statutory default interest pursuant to Section 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB) may be charged.
7. Shipping, Delivery & Retention of Title
7.1 Delivery Times
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, delivery will take place within 3–5 business days after conclusion of the contract or, for advance payment, after receipt of full payment.
During the Christmas season, delivery times may increase to 5–14 business days.
7.2 Transfer of Risk
The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to you when the goods are handed over to the shipping service provider.
For local collection, the risk transfers upon handover of the goods and full payment.
7.3 Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of Holzspielzeug & Kunstgewerbe, Owner: Katrin Ulbricht until the purchase price has been paid in full.
In the event of a breach of contract, particularly default of payment, we are entitled to reclaim the goods.
7.4 Transport Damage
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon receipt.
If the packaging or goods are visibly damaged:

Accept the shipment only with reservation.

Document the damage with photographs.

8. Warranty & Notification of Defects
Your statutory warranty rights apply from the date of receipt of the goods in accordance with German law.
If defects exist, you are entitled to statutory remedies, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract.
Natural variations in handcrafted wooden products, including wood grain, color shades, or slight dimensional differences, are not considered defects and do not give rise to warranty claims.
9. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal.

Returns and exchanges are governed exclusively by our Cancellation & Return Policy.

10. Place of Performance & Jurisdiction
Place of performance:

For merchants, legal entities under public law, and special funds under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Marienberg, Germany.
For consumers, the statutory rules of jurisdiction apply, including Section 29c of the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) and applicable European consumer protection legislation.
Applicable law is the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Consumers additionally benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in their country of habitual residence.

12. Relationship with Shopify
Manufaktur Ulbricht operates its online store using Shopify.
All sales are concluded exclusively between you and Manufaktur Ulbricht.
Shopify is not a contractual party to your purchases and assumes no responsibility for claims arising from transactions with us.
