Shipping & Payment Terms

1. Shipping Area

We currently deliver exclusively within Germany and the European Union.

Delivery to DHL Packstations is available. Unfortunately, delivery to P.O. boxes is not possible.

Note: If you would like delivery to Switzerland, please contact us in advance at info@firma-ulbricht.de. We will review the request on a case-by-case basis and inform you of the applicable shipping costs.


2. Shipping Costs

All shipping costs include the applicable statutory VAT.

Shipping charges depend on the value of your order and are clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

The exact shipping costs are shown in your shopping cart and again on the order summary page before you place your order.


3. Delivery Times & Delivery Conditions

3.1 Standard Delivery Time

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, delivery will be made within 2–3 business days after the contract has been concluded.

For payments made by bank transfer (advance payment), the delivery period begins only after full payment has been received.

Seasonal Items

During the Christmas season (November/December), delivery times may be extended to 5–14 business days due to increased demand. We recommend ordering Christmas items well in advance.


3.2 Delivery Delays

If, in exceptional cases, we are unable to meet a scheduled delivery date, we will inform you immediately by email.

In this case, you have the right to withdraw from the contract after granting us a reasonable additional period for delivery, provided that this period expires without success.

In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or government orders), delivery times will be extended accordingly. We will inform you as soon as possible.


3.3 Partial Deliveries

If individual items in your order are not available at the same time, we are entitled to make partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for you.

You will not incur any additional shipping costs as a result of partial deliveries.


3.4 Delivery & Transport Damage

We hand over your goods to our shipping provider carefully packaged.

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon receipt for any visible transport damage.

If the packaging or the goods are visibly damaged:

  • Accept the shipment only with reservation or refuse acceptance.

  • Document the damage with photographs of both the packaging and the goods.

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@firma-ulbricht.de.

We will promptly arrange an appropriate solution.

In the event of verified transport damage, we will bear the costs of the return shipment and any replacement delivery.


4. Local Collection

You may collect your order free of charge from our premises:

Please select "Local Pickup" during checkout and arrange a collection appointment with us by telephone or email.

Your goods will be reserved for you as soon as we have confirmed your order.


5. Payment Terms

5.1 Available Payment Methods

We offer the following payment options:

PayPal

Payment via your PayPal account. Payment is processed immediately after your order is completed. Your payment information is processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg.

Credit Card (via PayPal)

Payment by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express through PayPal's secure payment service. PayPal may perform a credit assessment.

Advance Payment / Bank Transfer

After completing your order, you will receive our bank account details by email.

Please transfer the invoice amount within 7 days.

Your order will be shipped once payment has been received in full.

Klarna – Invoice

Pay after receiving your goods.

Klarna performs a credit assessment.

The invoice must be paid within 14 days after receipt of the goods.

Klarna AB's terms and conditions apply.


5.2 Due Date & Late Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due immediately and payable without deduction.

For advance payment by bank transfer, payment must be received within 7 days of the order confirmation.

In the event of late payment, we are entitled to charge statutory default interest (Section 288 German Civil Code (BGB): 5 percentage points above the applicable base interest rate for consumer transactions).

We also reserve the right to claim additional reminder fees where legally permissible.


5.3 Exclusion of Payment Methods

We reserve the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases, particularly following a negative credit assessment, unusual ordering behavior, or for first-time orders.

In such cases, we will offer you alternative payment options.


5.4 Set-Off & Right of Retention

You may only offset counterclaims if they have been legally established, are undisputed, or have been acknowledged by us.

You may exercise a right of retention only if your counterclaim arises from the same contractual relationship.


6. Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.

In the event of a breach of contract by the buyer, particularly in the case of payment default, we are entitled to reclaim the goods.

The buyer is obliged to handle the goods with due care and, upon request, must immediately inform us of their location.


7. Invoicing

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation.

Once your goods have been dispatched, you will receive your invoice by email.

The invoice contains all information required by German VAT law (Section 14 German VAT Act (UStG)), including the applicable VAT amount.

Upon request, we can also include a printed invoice with your shipment.

Please let us know this preference when placing your order.


8. Prices & Currency

All prices are stated in Euro (€) and include the applicable statutory VAT.

Any changes to the statutory VAT rate will be reflected accordingly in our prices.

Errors and printing mistakes regarding prices remain reserved. Should such an error occur, we will inform you before confirming your order.
